When it comes to understanding men you have to first acknowledge that all men are different and you will have exceptions to the rule.
But don't let that statement fool you. To understand a man you have to know that men are simple creatures. Not in a degrading sense just in the fact that it doesn't take a lot to satisfy most men.
Gender studies have shown that men are sight driven and therefore explaining why attracting men is so easy to do. Also explaining why they are so easily distracted!
What turns women on is usually not as simple as looks. A man would have a much harder time understanding women than women have understanding men.
The main point that I would like to make to the women is never drive yourself crazy trying to understand a man.
With that said, realize that knowing how to date men requires being on there level of communication. Communicating with men means do not over indulge. Do your best to let him lead the conversation. That way you will be able to get a feel of where his mind is instead of forcing him to find the right words.

Wimpy is unnecessary and you don't need him running out with Mrs. Easy and bringing home a sexually transmitted disease. Think of all that he has asked from you over time. What things you know interest him most and find a way to feed those needs in a positive and confident manner.
If he needs you to baby him go right ahead. Leave no stone unturned. Men tend to have no problem with trying to find what they need elsewhere.
A lot of men have lost touch with relatedness, emotionality, and sensitivity. Men need to incorporate feminine values within themselves in order to find peace within love. If you can help your man to see this truth within himself your relationship will benefit greatly.
Understanding men means exactly that, MEN. Remember there are a lot of boys out there pretending to be men. Don't waste your time and energy on someone who obviously is still living like he's 21 at the age of 31. That's a whole different kind of understanding!
