The proud family does more than just live. They live together with pride.
In today's world the value of family has dwindled so much people seem to be ashamed of saying they have one.
What happened to seeing families out and enjoying the day together?
It seems as though you would need to watch free tv online and find old television shows to sit and enjoy in order to get a sense of what a family is.
Even the grandmothers seem to be younger and are out living there lives as if they were still in there twenties. No more gatherings at Grandma's unless it's the great grands.
Having your extended family is great, but one thing I now know and love is my immediate family. My husband and kids are the world to me. They are always here for me when I need them. Good or bad.
We are the proud family. We went through a lot of struggles in our path and dealt with a lot of doubtful people. Mostly unfortunately our extended families.
Through all of our tough and trying times we hung in there together strong and with our heads held high. We aren't rich but we had 3 kids back to back and instead of support we got so much flack. Mostly because people had other expectations for us.
Sometimes your extended family seems to have a hard time dealing with your decisions in life. Especially when it comes down to the mate you choose. They seem to want you to be single and playing the field for the rest of your life.
Even though we were broke most of the time we still were proud of our family. We always do things together and do our best to make sure everyone in our household is happy.
The proud family isn't proud because of their wealth. They are proud because of the dedication and love they show to one another. Proud at the fact they never cheated on their mate and can live with a clear conscious. Some may be proud however at the fact they may have survived and done well past such a trial if it did occur.
The important thing is to truly love the one you are with and treat each day like a new beginning.
Be proud of yourself for being a good parent and partner. Let love show through in all you do and know that all though there are plenty of fish in the sea the best fish is the one that you see right in front of you when you wake and when you sleep!
