I'm glad you chose me.....

Each day as I awake
To an even more beautiful day than before,
Her smile crosses my mind
As soon as my eyes open,

Her voice lingers within these walls of my mind,
And brings a smile across my face.
My appreciation is shown through my many gestures
And poems dedicated softly to her
Like a love song requested with a special shout out
Directly to her,

The words of this slow song speak secretively
And between the lines
About how she makes me feel.

Life gives you these chances and choices to make
And you chose me.

With this choice brought new life,
With this decision created a new type of beautiful
Happiness for the both of us.

Anticipation fills the air
As nervous butterflies fill our stomachs with anxiousness
Of seeing one another again,

Late night conversations are like a bed time story song
Quietly and gently in our ears
To place us into passionate dreams
Of future intentions.

This is all wound up and intertwined
Inside my thoughts of you
And why I'm glad that you chose me....
