A Poetic Winters Tale about the
Savage Love that Sleeps in us All!

savage love

Savage Love came about one night while I was looking at my wife sleep, I searched my soul for a word to describe our love.

What started as a word grew into a definition and a definition grew into a poem. Although this is a Love Poem, it speaks to that beast inside all of us that's willing to fight, provide, protect, and die for what we love.

Growing up in the midst of the streets taught me about survival of the fittest. I had to fight so my younger brothers and sisters wouldn't have to. Now I fight for the survival of my Family."By Any Means Necessary"

(Webster's Definition)
Savage: (sav·age) adj
1.Undomesticated, living wild, beyond the control of people: savage beasts
2.Unrestrained, violent, or vicious
Love: (luv) v
1. Passionate attraction and desire: a passionate feeling of romantic desire and sexual attraction.
2. Very strong affection: an intense feeling of tender affection and compassion.

(Our Definition)
Savage Love:
1."A passionate unrestrained desire, beyond the control of people."

So from us to you...
We give you our definition, our poetry, our passion, our SAVAGE LOVE!

Enjoy:

"Savage Love"

In this forest of Pain
I find no shade for my soul
no water for my worries
no fire to tame this cold

Life's lake of loneliness
is drowning this crocodile tear
while fear of what I truly am
keeps that beast in me near

I hear your hope
deep in my soul
a place undiscovered, a room in my heart
that I thought I locked and closed

Although your communication barrier
is scarier than what the barrier protects
I'll rather die fighting for you
than live with regret

With a howl at the sun
we run for reality
only to crash into common sense
and a real beast staring back at me

We fight to be the omega
we fight for the day
we fight for pride
We fight to be your mate

Body torn
with bite marks on my existence
scratches on my spirit
but for your warmth I'll do it again in an instance

We hunt for the hustle
so our herd can survive and grow
we hibernate only in the winter
because we don't like the snow

We have overcome'd
more than most people will even see
Phuck the world
it's Me for You and You for Me

Oh, Yeah

Our love is a beast
thats why I call it savage!
