A true love match can easily be pushed into the unhealthy relationships category if we don't know what we truly want out of a partner, lover, or friend.

Some relationship tests can come in the form of an unhealed inner wound from emotional abuse caused by a previous relationship or dating someone who is the sole provider for a one parent home.

I've had life as my instructor
So success is what I expect
But life's lessons have taught
It takes more than studying to pass these tests

Blessed to take this exam
but damn I wish I would have studied
because I had no idea you would come in
all seductive and lovely

Ugly might be the outcome
and fear might find freedom
but just because I don't have all the answers
I can't just up and leave'em

Coming from where I come from
you meet your struggles squarely face to face
and even if you fail
you never slow down your pace

This race we call a relationship
is a marathon not a sprint
and this running in circles
is causing my heart to split

I have to deal wit
you not answering your phone
when I have to sleep in these
lone parent homes

Countdowns up 2 - 3 secrets, reader
writer and publisher of my pain
you hold the key to my sanity
so why does the confusion remain

I've maintained long enough
passed each true love quiz with flying colors
and you have the nerve
to get answers from another

Blessed is how I feel
until I seen on this test where you cheated
now to express what that effects
a whole nother poem is needed

Some Tests you can't study for, but you can always be prepared.
