My Prince

You were her prince, her armor.
You promised to destroy anything that tried to harm her.
You were her heart, mind, and soul.
You made her happy and feel whole.

You faught for her every step of the way.
You took her out and almost never let her pay.
you were the best part of her day.

The reason she got up out of bed.
forever and always u said.

But forever didnt last
and u broke her heart.
She never really healed
but she still loved you
right from the start.

Till this day she never let you go
but she hides her feelings
and never lets them show.

She puts on a mask and tells everybody shes ok,
but really all she wanted was for you to stay.
She's tired of fighting
and she's tired of crying.
She says she's fine and smiles everyday,
but really inside she's dying.

Even when she laughs
deep in her eyes she just wants to cry.
I hope u read this and realize
That you were the one person
she cares most about,

The one person she would give anything for
and I hope you realize that it hurt's her
right down to the core.
To know that you will move on and forget her
when she will never let go
and this is the one thing that only you can cure.
