When you think of mother daughter poems you think of some nice heartfelt poems mom would love. Well not all the time is that the case. Unfortunately poetry about mothers isn't always going to be good.

We were not all blessed to have loving and caring mothers. The bond in mother daughter relationships is always there. Good or Bad!

Daughters who have been scarred by the one person in the world who should love you unconditionally will write unhappy poems about moms.

Poems about mothers that are bad are just some peoples way of letting the hurtful feelings out so please don't take offense. There is no greater pain than to know that you are not loved by your mother.

The same stands for mother to daughter poems. To know you raised your daughter with as much love as you can give yet she still despises you is also a painful thing. We want to offer a place for daughters and mothers to let out all their pain and love.

Poems my mother would write would probably be some sad family poetry. However any poem for my daughter that I may write will be filled with love and pride.

After my experiences with my mother, I refuse to have the unhappy "mother daughter poems" floating out there about our relationship. I choose to learn from my mothers mistakes.

A poem about family will always be filled with lot's of emotion because family is the set of people we have the most expectations for. I would love for all verses for mothers to be uplifting. After all we are supposed to honor thy mother and father.

Whatever the case may be poetry is a form of expression and we welcome all forms. Can you feel the pain in this first poem in our segment on mother daughter poems. With that thought in mind

For That

You gave birth to me.
I love you for that.
God gave me the strength.
I guess I really just love you because of that.

You were 15 just a child yourself
and you hate ME for that.
Is that my fault or yours?
Your life wasn't going to ever be the same.
You hate me for that.

I felt sympathy for your struggles.
I Love you for that.

My daddy didn't love you
and you hated me for that.
You abused me mentally
because your mental wasn't strong.
I forgave you for that.

Your chosen husband abused you
I was there for you through that.

When modeling opportunities came for me
you killed them, why?
I guess I hate you for that!

As long as my life is miserable
you seem to love that.
A mother hating her daughter
Wow, mother
what again did I do wrong?
Can you please answer that.
