As lesbian parents when my daughter was old enough to understand we both sat her down and answered any questions her young mind could conjure up.

Yes we did explain to her it should be mother and father not mother and mother. We went through the story of Adam and Eve, but we love each other and her very much and that's what matters for her now.

As she grows her understanding of life and love will grow. For now our mother daughter relationships are beautiful and full of love!!
