I looked up
and saw a star without make up
and a cloud in the corner crying
while the wind whispered wake up

Stuck there
without an umbrella to understand
Then You shared your shelter
to help me comprehend

Never did the world look so perfect
and my eyes never left off you
I wondered could I be worth this
and if this is a dream, please let it come true

I took a guided tour through your thoughts
and had a picnic in your passion
made my way around your worries
and we both ended up laughing

Just like new rain
I never felt so pure
I felt like giving you my last name
Yes, I am just that sure

So you took my word
and let go of the umbrella
We connected with a kiss
and rode out the storm together

When the coast was clear
and we could feel the Son's heat
The only sign there was a problem
was the water and rose pedals resting at our feet.
