This daughter to father poem is especially dedicated to the fathers and daughters who's relationship not only suffered in childhood, but still suffers in adulthood.

I

personally consider my thoughts of dad a temple of my familiar pain.

Why? Because it has brought pain in other aspects of my life. Family advice never worked for my father because he simply never cared.

Family days out never included my father. His endless love ended at my conception I guess.

We like to allow the poetry section to be spoken in truths and feelings. So not all things are said joyful. Let the pain out and continue to live without!

Possessing the secret of joy.
Is that giving your child the best toy.
For a girl it means
Daddy supplied all her needs.

Well what if daddy wasn't there.
Instead he left her and didn't care.

Forever she has a bad taste for men.
Especially when all her daddy did was win.
The affection and passion of all her teenage girlfriends.

Now she's filled with disgust.
As she sees that a mans lust
Has no boundaries of trust.

Forever now she's torn.
She grows to be a woman scorned
Before she even gets to experience
her own heart being worn.

This father taught his daughter
That love can come from no other
Because she only had one father.

The lies every birthday and holiday.
The abuse he gave his women every day.
And the unfaithful ways
He displayed always.

Put a black whole
In a beautiful girls soul.
